There’s a new yoga prop on the block - resistance bands! Similar to a yoga belt/strap, but with more feedback, because they stretch! Join TRISHA.YOGA for this workshop style class where you’ll move your whole body through a familiar vinyasa flow class with the addition of resistance bands. Diversity is a vital component of building strength and resiliency - physically, emotionally, mentally. The constant tensile feedback from the resistance band means that we (our muscles and nervous system) get more input as to what we are doing and where we are in any given yoga asana (posture).
Come meet your new favorite yoga prop and learn how to incorporate it into your practice or just experience a new way of feeling side angle pose and mountain pose. Warning: you might learn some nerdy stuff about proprioception and motor control.
