Join Trisha Durham, E-RYT 200 for a workshop that will open tight winter shoulders. Having found freedom from her own tight shoulders, Trisha has a vested interest in keeping the shoulders strong and balanced in vinyasa yoga.
In this practice, we will open the front body, stabilize the shoulders and replace tension with strength. You will learn how to use your shoulder girdle more effectively in postures like chaturanga and downward-facing dog to enhance your range of motion and keep you safe for a long-term yoga practice. Lastly, you'll learn postures that will create strength and freedom in your shoulders so you can move into more demanding postures with the upper body.
Ideal for those who desire a better understanding of how the shoulders work in yoga and who want less tension in their shoulders both on and off the mat.
